Juicing has so many benefits. It’s such a great way to get the nutrients absorbing into your body without making your digestion use energy breaking down the fibers and other compounds. Carrots in particular have worked well for me since I’ve had leaky gut and migraines for my whole childhood. Carrots contain glutamine, which is essential for intestinal repair, and spices like turmeric and ginger have anti-inflammatory benefits—so that juice is like heaven for your gut 🙂 And it tastes amazing. Try it and love it. My quick and easy recipe for one person is:

Ingredients:
- 2-3 carrots
- 1 pink grapefruit
- 1 cm piece (less than half inch) ginger
- 1 cm piece (less than half inch) turmeric
- (1 small spoon of olive oil or mct oil)
Instructions:
Wash, cut and peel if necessary everything in medium size peaces and push through your blender. Choose organic vegetables whenever possible.
Add a bit of oil to help to nutrients to absorb and enjoy the drink from a beautiful glass!
Green juice on the other hand is a great source of energy, vitality and bone health. This one is loaded with vitamin A and C. I usually drink it during the morning to detox and hydrate. This combination is super tasty even if you are not a big fan of green juices.
Ingredients:
- 1-2 dl (1 cup) of spinach
- 3 stalks of celery
- half of cucumber
- 1 yellow grapefruit since I love grapes but if you want sweeter version try with 1 green apple.
- 1 cm piece of ginger
- (any herbs you prefer)
Instructions:
Wash, cut and peel if necessary everything in medium size peaces and push through your blender. Choose organic vegetables whenever possible.
Add a bit of oil to help to nutrients to absorb and enjoy!
